André Johnson has 9 years of experience in Law Enforcement, he has trained in the United States of America with the Police Department of Charleston South Carolina, Hoffman Estates Illinois and Fairfax County Virginia respectively.

He has had the opportunity to train with one of the top three firearm instructors in the United States, this being John Farnan of Defence Training International.

André Johnson was awarded a plaque for Distinguish Service rendered to the City of Charleston Police Department.

He is the first and only Law Enforcement Officer from South Africa to win first place in the International category for The Chief’s Challenge Award in 1996. This competition is hosted annually by the International Association of Chief’s of Police. He then went on to win it in 1998/99 and 1999/2000.

André Johnson is also the only South African certified by the American Automobile Association as a Child Safety Seat Technician.
